Warrington Town Juniors have just started their 3rd year working with Priestley College sports coaching and development students. Warrington Towns Junior chairperson, Jason Walker visited the college earlier in the year and gave a talk about grassroots coaching and with the help of Josh from Priestley College Sports department.

We allocated students across 18 teams from U8 up to U17. They will attend and run all sessions for an 8 week period. The students will gain experience in the administration side of coaching and ever day tasks of running a team along side the coaching sessions.

The junior club is entirely run by local volunteers so we wanted to give our support to our local college and hopefully bring in future volunteers from this experience.
